Once an item passes authentication, you can mint a proof certificate — an NFT recorded on the Solana blockchain.
Why an NFT?
The certificate records your item's authentication result (identity, condition, authenticity findings) permanently and publicly on-chain. Once minted, that record can't be quietly edited or deleted — anyone can independently verify it, including a future buyer.
What's in it
The certificate includes the item's name, its authentication outcome, condition, and estimated value at the time of minting, along with a photo of the item.
Where to view it
Your minted certificates appear under "My Collections" in your account. Each one links out to a public blockchain explorer where you can see the on-chain transaction directly.
Does minting cost anything?
No — Collauth covers the on-chain network fee for you, so minting a certificate doesn't require you to hold any cryptocurrency.
