All amounts are in Australian dollars. Every fee below is shown on-screen before you commit to a purchase, a sale, or a postage label — this page is the complete list, published so you can check it without being mid-checkout.
Buying

You are charged once, for the total of those three. The service fee is calculated on the item price only — never on the postage.
Postage is quoted from the carrier at the moment you check out, using your delivery address and the seller's package details. If no carrier rate can be retrieved, a flat fallback rate is used and shown to you as such.

Collauth takes no percentage of postage. Your payout is the item price, plus the postage the buyer paid, minus the 5% seller fee — less any deductions below.
Buyer and seller fees are separate charges on the same sale, so Collauth's total take on a completed sale is 10% of the item price plus A$0.50.
Postage labels bought through Collauth
Sellers who have not connected their own carrier account can buy a label funded by Collauth. That label costs the carrier's price plus 5%, and is deducted from your payout for that sale.
The 5% covers carrier re-weighs and surcharges applied after a label is printed, and voids the carrier declines. If a carrier later adjusts the cost of a label, the difference is recovered from your next payout.
Platform-funded labels are limited to items up to A$500 and parcels up to 5kg, with at most 10 unsettled labels at a time.

The per-item charge covers the blockchain transaction cost of moving each extra certificate. A trade moving one item each way is charged for one extra item.
What is not charged
- No listing fee. Listing an item is free, for any number of items.
- No fee to cancel a listing, or to have an item returned to you.
- No fee on a cancelled or refunded order — when an order is cancelled within the window, or refunded after a dispute, the buyer receives the item price, the postage and the service fee back in full.
- No monthly, subscription, or store fee.
- No charge for minting or holding a proof certificate, and no blockchain transaction costs for ordinary use — Collauth covers those.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Collauth does not add a payment surcharge. The bank or card issuer behind your payment method may apply its own fees, most commonly on international cards; those are between you and them.
